Everybody talks about creating something viral and many try. Many fail. It's very difficult to predict what might work, but if it does work it's likely because it's remarkable. Below is a video for Grasshopper.com that I think is remarkable and given it's received almost a million views many others must feel the same.
The video is already about three months old, so if you've already seen it then maybe you would like to watch it again 🙂 In a nutshell, the video is a parody of the song "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys but it substitutes "Entrepreneur" for "Empire" to relay a story about characteristics associated with the new breed of tech start-ups and entrepreneurs. Grasshopper offers virtual telephone systems for entrepreneurs and small companies that may operate with virtual teams so that they can all be connected via a virtual telephony exchange in the cloud. It's seems like a cool service, but their viral ad is even cooler. Enjoy.
